Los Angeles Public Library
"It's important that you spend a lot of time getting to know the space you're in when taking architectural photography." I chose this library for my final project, a place that was set in the heart of DTLA. For 6 weeks, I rode the metro from USC to this library every Tuesday afternoon, spending many hours exploring each part of the place: the study rooms, the rows and stacks of books, the effects COVID-19 had on the building, the loungerooms, and so on. These are what came out of the experiences I accumulated during this time.
