This project explores spaces down to the smallest component. Based in the wetlands of Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve, a panel design is born out of the concept of a mussel shell: rough and opaque on the outside and iridescent and beautiful on the inside. With this panel, ever-changing to the sun, the light illustrates the interiors with a myriad of colors, making it an inspirational spot for an artist residency.
